When you order a SSL we assign a static’ IP to your account. A static’ IP is required for securing the traffic between your website visitors and your website. The SSL encrypts the session between the visitor and your site. When we assign a static IP, the new information about where the site is located has to propagate across the internet, this will’ usually take about four hours.
