What is the minimum monthly fee?
This is the minimum amount your company must pay Viber per month. This fee is a prepaid credit that conditions the ability to continue using your Viber Business profile. This is Viber’s effort to prevent the creation of inactive accounts.
Each month, you will be charged a minimum monthly amount in advance for each corporate Viber Business profile (called Sender ID). The minimum monthly charge applies to messaging until the total amount is exhausted. If you do not use the amount in a given calendar month, it will NOT be carried over to the next billing period.
What is the minimum monthly spending amount based on?
- For Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Iraq, Moldova, Russia, Greece and Ukraine it is set at €187.50 per month.
- For all other countries it is €125 per month.
- If your company sends to more than one country via your Viber Business Profile (Sender ID), the minimum monthly fulfillment is charged according to the country with the highest fee. Example: if a company sends messages to Slovakia (€125), Czech Republic (€125) and Hungary (€187.50), it will pay the highest minimum monthly charge of the countries listed, i.e. €187.50 (according to Hungary).
What to do in case of lack of credits?
In this case, we will send you a first call on the 20th of the month to increase the funds in your account. After 48 hours, your account balance is automatically checked and if the funds do not reach the required amount, we will send you a second call on the 22nd of the month. Then, on the 25th of the month, the collection system will attempt to deduct the required amount from your account in the amount of the minimum monthly payment. If even this direct debit does not go through properly, your Viber Business Sender will be deactivated for the next billing period, which begins the following day.
Reactivation of Viber Business sender
Your Viber Business sender can be deactivated a maximum of three times per year. If an account is deactivated more than three times, it may be permanently blocked by Viber. An account so blocked may not be able to be reactivated thereafter. You can request reactivation of your Viber Business sender at any time by contacting our support. Gretor SMS may charge a fee of €30 for reactivating a sender, which covers the cost of processing and handling the request with Viber.
